Shimon is a thought leader and an expert in integrating design, marketing, and technology for the development of products and services that connect with users at all touch points, 360.
Shimon is the founder of Touch360, an innovation and design firm based in the US. Before that he was the founder and chief technology officer of KeyNetica where he created the vision and led the development of products that pioneered the use of the USB Flash Drive, which he invented, as a mobile computing platform.
Prior to KeyNetica he was with IBM where he held leadership positions in strategic marketing, business unit strategies, and new product development and design. Shimon holds MSEE, MBA, and MID degrees. Always a student and a teacher, Shimon has taught at George Mason University and Elon University, and has coached students at MIT Sloan School of Management, Virginia Tech School of Architecture & Design, and various other business and design schools in the US. He is currently Adjunct Professor with the graduate Engineering & Technology Management program at Portland State University where he teaches User-Centered Design and Innovation, and Technology Marketing. Shimon has been invited speaker in various forums, among them at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in China, ICSID/IDSA World Design Congress in San Francisco, Taiwan Design Center in Taipei, and others.
